RULES

 

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Participation constitutes participants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules.

 

  1. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over, on or before June 1st 2008

 

  1. Limit of one entry per person. Duplicate entries will result in automatic disqualification.

 

  1. The final date for entering a ballot will be August 9th 2008 by 12:00pm.

 

  1. All entries for the Free Home Giveaway must be made in person. No emails, faxes, or 3rd party entries will be accepted.

 

  1. You do not need to be present at the time of the draw to win the house.

 

  1. The winner will be determined by a random public drawing from all eligible entries. The draw will be held on august 9th, 2008

 

  1. The chances of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries. Golden Opportunity Home Give-Away is unaware of how many entrants there might be. The winner may come from any geographic area, so long as they otherwise qualify to enter the home contest.

 

  1. Exclusions, the board members of the Manitouwadge Economic Development Corporation and staff members directly involved in the project are not eligible to win.

 

  1. All entries become property of the Golden Opportunity Home Give-Away and may be used for any and all purposes and may include use of information on the entry form for inclusion of sponsor data bank and will not be returned.

 

  1. Requirements of the winner. The prize must be accepted as awarded with no cash substitutions in whole or in part allowed. The winner once advised shall work with the Golden Opportunity Home Give-Away to facilitate the transfer of the home into their name within 30 days of being contracted. If the selected entrant declines the prize another entrant will be randomly selected from the entrants.

 

  1. All responsibilities for insurance, taxation etc., Become the responsibility of the individual who wins the home effective, of the date of the transfer of ownership.

 

  1. By entering this Give-Away, each contestant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, address and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Golden Opportunity Home Give-Away and/or its advertising agencies, without compensation.

 

  1. The winners consent to their photograph being taken for such use, without compensation.

 

  1. Official announcement of the winner will be printed in the August 13 Issue of The Echo. The announcement will also be published on The Echo website, www.theecho.ca.
